The opening title sequence of Seven establishes a mysterious and disturbing atmosphere. The colours consist of dark grey, black and hints of bright light. Throughout the sequence, Seven consists of quick shots of peculiar objects and quick flickers. Seven is a good example of a discrete title sequence as it is unclear as to what the objects mean at this stage but will be revealed once you watch the film. We have noticed that Seven consist of very quick matchshots lasting around 2/3 seconds throughout the title sequence. The colours also heightens to mood. The dark colours create a sense of gloominess and the fact that we can not see the person's face but we can only see his hands, gives the impression that he's hiding his identity. In our Title Sequence , we admired the idea of not seeing the antagonist's face therefore inspired by this we thought it would a brilliant idea if the stalkers wore white masks which again gives a quite chilling atmosphere.


Arlington Road



Arlington Road's title sequence include heavy stylised shots with red, grey green and yellow filter. The font of the credits are white over a bright
