What are the four different types of film opening?

The four different types of film openings are:
  • Moving images
  • Animation or Motion
  • Blank screen
  • Still images
My favourite type of title sequence is Animation or motion because I love the way the title integrates with the moving images, also it includes a lot of digital technology and stylized editing which film makers can express their creativity and be imaginative with the advance technology. Also, with animation it allows producers to create imaginative characters or images that does not have to be realistic.

What I love about Catch Me if You Can is that the opening sequence creates a sense of mystery as we the audience are presented with a unknown male cartoon figure that appears to change his professions, e.g. he changes from a policeman to a doctor and his location. The type of music playing also heightens the mystery, causing the audience to be eager in knowing who the man is and what he's role in the actual movie is.
